Dept. Of Health Reported 24 Additional Deaths Due To COVID-19; 570 New Cases

On August 19, the Department of Health reported 24 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,523.

As of 12:00 a.m. August 19, there were 570 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 126,149 in all 67 counties.

Approximately 9,074 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
