Dept. Of Health Reported 20 Additional Deaths Friday Due To COVID-19; 693 New Cases

On August 21, the Department of Health reported 20 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,558.

As of 12:00 a.m. August 21, there were 693 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 127,633 in all 67 counties.

Approximately 9,203 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
