Dept. Of Health Reported 1 Additional Death Due To COVID-19; 426 New Cases

On August 24, the Department of Health reported 1 additional death as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,579.

As of 12:00 a.m. August 24, there were 426 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 129,474 in all 67 counties.

Approximately 9,341 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
