Dept. Of Health Reported 18 Additional Deaths Saturday Due To COVID-19; 796 New Cases:

On August 22, the Department of Health reported 18 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,576.

As of 12:00 a.m. August 22, there were 796 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 128,429 in all 67 counties.

Approximately 9,276 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
