Dept. Of Health Reports 11 More Deaths Due To COVID-19; Total Cases - 4,087

On March 30, the Department of Health reported 11 more Pennsylvanians have died as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total to 48.
As of 12:00 a.m., March 30, there were 693 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 4,087 in 59 counties.
There are 33,777 patients who have tested negative to date. Of the patients who have tested positive to date the age breakdown is as follows:
-- Less than 1 percent are aged 0-4;
-- Less than 1 percent are aged 5-12;
-- 1 percent are aged 13-18;
-- 10 percent are aged 19-24;
-- 41 percent are aged 25-49;
-- 28 percent are aged 50-64; and
-- 19 percent are aged 65 or older.
Most of the patients hospitalized are aged 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients 65 or older. There have been no pediatric deaths to date. More data is available here.
