Dept. Of Health Reports 18 Additional Deaths Due To COVID-19; 963 New Cases

On September 5, the Department of Health reported 18 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,760.

As of 12:00 a.m. September 5, there were 963 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 138,625 in all 67 counties.

Approximately 9,861 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
