Dept. Of Health Reports 11 Additional Deaths Due To COVID-19; 496 New Cases:; Live Update 1:30

On September 8, the Department of Health reported 11 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 which brings the total number of deaths to 7,791.
As of 12:00 a.m. September 8, there were 496 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 140,359 in all 67 counties.
Approximately 9,914 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
