Dept. Of Health Reports 18 Additional Deaths Due To COVID-19; 770 New Cases

On September 1, the Department of Health reported 18 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,691.

As of 12:00 a.m. September 1, there were 770 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 134,795 in all 67 counties.

Approximately 9,665 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
