PA Made $173,058.84 On New Sports Wagering Facilities In First 2 Weeks

On December 18, the PA Gaming Control Board reported the first 2 weeks a wagering under the state's new Sports Wagering program made the state $173,058.84 and revenue to local shares $10,179.93.
The initial report encompasses just the returns from November 15th to 30th for Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course which was the first to launch a sports wagering facility in the Commonwealth.
During the initial 2 weeks, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course reported a handle of $1,414,586.55 and adjusted gross revenue after payouts of $508,996.60.
Two additional facilities, Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh and SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia commenced sports wagering during December. Revenue figures for those facilities will be included in next month’s report.
