Dept. Of Health Reported 16 Additional Deaths Due To COVID-19; 843 New Cases

On August 29, the Department of Health reported 16 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,671.
As of 12:00 a.m. August 29, there were 843 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 132,834 in all 67 counties.
Approximately 9,565 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.

Dept. Of Health Reported 20 Additional Deaths Due To COVID-19; 835 New Cases

On August 28, the Department of Health reported 20 additional deaths as a result of COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 7,655.
As of 12:00 a.m. August 28, there were 835 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 131,991 in all 67 counties.
Approximately 9,526 of Pennsylvania’s total positive cases are in health care workers.
